Nick Names - II

Along the path of life, you meet many new people, and then come close to a select few of them.. And you allow these select few people call you by whatever names they choose. Coz it is these very names which immortalize the stories of your life. The incidents which led to the names getting coined.. So here's adding a few more stories - ones that came when I least expected them. At a time when I didnt think there were going to be any ever-lasting stories at all!

Gurr, Gubbs (Short for Gubbara), Jemaima, bunny singh, saibo, hungry hippo, Pooh, Polu, Polar Bear, and the latest addition at work Sohi G.

And its when i pen down these names, that I'm thankful to God. I know I'm blessed and grateful for it..

Received an sms today asking me to find a suitable nickname for the person.. and it got me thinking of the nicks that all of us own, n the stories behind them all!
n it compelled me into thinking of the ones that i own, that were bestowed upon me by various people, at various points in time..
thinking of keeping a count of all of them!
Here we go then!!
originally named Gurbani, known as Geenu at home.well mostly! at other times it'd be one of these: gini, gina, ginchal, ginaadu, giniya!(some of them sure r funny!! n the reasons in some cases r funnier still)
moving forward, putt rajasthani(dunno y dad calls me that :) ), putt pardesi.., srinagar(my nani calls me that!)
motu, mithu, sweetu,mota raja, tika(!!!), biba, bugga, tonka bean(!!!), rapunzel, don.
ok now... bani, guri, guruji(!!!!!), gobu, gaggu, G., angrez, gidz(haha, this one just popped up today!)... ummmm.. thinking still.. oh yeah, ginar lala, gainda ji(!!), oh how could i have forgotten! All India Radio, kaka, einstein, jhalli, gulzar, javedi akhtara...
umm i think that does it for now! aint there too many already??

but the stories behind them all make them worthwhile! :)
After all, what are we but our stories!
